JayApp(제이앱, 이하 "운영자")은 북이On&On(북이온앤온) 앱(이하 "앱")을 운영하며, 「개인정보 보호법」에 따라 이용자의 개인정보를 보호하고 관련 고충을 빠르게 처리하기 위해 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리방침을 둡니다.

1. 처리하는 개인정보와 목적

• 가입·로그인(필수): Apple 로그인 사용자 식별자, Apple 갱신 토큰(암호화해 보관), 로그인 세션 — 본인 확인, 로그인 유지, 계정 삭제 때 Apple 로그인 연결 해제
• 프로필(필수): 닉네임(처음 로그인할 때 자동으로 짓고 바꿀 수 있음) — 공개한 한 줄의 글쓴이 표시
• 독서 기록(이용자가 입력): 읽은 책·읽는 중인 책·서고에 담은 책, 다 읽은 날·읽기 시작한 날, 읽은 쪽·퍼센트, 한 줄 독후감과 공개 여부·스포일러 표시 — 기록 보관, 다른 기기·다시 설치했을 때 복원, 공개한 한 줄 보여 주기
• 책장 꾸미기: 책장과 그림체·책장 디자인·배경, 책과 소품의 자리 — 저장과 복원
• 다른 독자와 함께: 내가 켠 on, 신고(신고한 한 줄과 이유), 가린 독자(차단) — on 표시, 신고 처리, 가린 독자의 한 줄 빼기
• 구매 기록: App Store에서 산 상품(앤 묶음·평생 회원 등), 거래 번호, 구매일, 환불 여부(Apple App Store를 통해 처리) — 사용권과 앤 주기·복원, 환불 반영, 결제 문의 대응
• 앤 거래 기록: 앤 묶음 거래 번호, 받은·쓴·거둔 앤과 그 시각, 앤으로 산 상품 — 앤 잔액 계산, 앤 내역 보여 주기, 환불 때 회수, 결제 문의 대응
• 자동으로 생기는 정보: 접속 IP 주소, 서버 운영 기록 — 지나친 호출 막기, 장애 대응
• 앱 사용 기록(사용 통계): 앱에서 쓴 기능과 화면(예: 책 등록, 그림체 바꾸기, 공유, 구매, 앤 쓰기), 고른 그림체·소품 같은 설정, 받은 안내 문구, 기기 정보(기종·운영체제·앱 버전·언어), 앱 설치별 식별자, 계정 ID(가명), IP 주소로 추정한 대략적인 지역(나라·지역 수준) — 기능 개선, 이용 통계, 안내 문구 비교. 판권의 "사용 통계 보내기"로 끌 수 있고, 꺼도 앱을 쓰는 데 제한이 없습니다

모으지 않는 것: 이름, 이메일(Apple 로그인에서 요청하지 않습니다), 전화번호, 정확한 위치, 연락처, 광고 식별자. 한 줄 글과 검색어는 사용 기록에 넣지 않습니다.

• 바코드 읽기는 기기 안에서만 처리하고 카메라 화면이나 사진을 보내지 않습니다.
• 책장 이미지는 기기에서 만들고, 이용자가 고른 곳(사진 앱, 인스타그램, 스레드 등)에만 공유합니다.
• 책 검색어는 같은 검색을 빠르게 돌려주려고 서버가 하루 동안 결과를 보관하지만, 검색어를 알아볼 수 없는 값(해시)으로만 두고 누가 검색했는지 남기지 않습니다.

2. 보유·이용 기간

이용자가 계정을 삭제하면(앱 목차 → 판권 → 북이off) 서버의 개인정보를 바로 지웁니다. 구매 기록과 앤 거래 기록도 함께 지웁니다(결제·환불의 원래 기록은 Apple이 보관합니다). 다만 다음은 적은 기간만큼 남았다가 지워집니다.

• 매일 만드는 서버 백업: 만든 날부터 30일. 장애가 났을 때 복구에만 씁니다.
• 데이터베이스 시점 복구 기록: 최대 30일. 장애가 났을 때 복구에만 씁니다.
• 서버 운영 기록: 최대 7일. 장애 대응에 씁니다.
• 앱 사용 기록: Firebase(Google Analytics)에서는 수집일로부터 14개월이 지나면 지워지도록 설정합니다. Amplitude에서는 앱을 운영하는 동안 보관하고, 운영을 끝내면 지웁니다. 계정을 삭제한 뒤 요청하면 두 곳에서 그 계정의 기록을 지웁니다.
• Apple 갱신 토큰(암호화된 채, 계정과 끊김): Apple 로그인 연결 해제에 성공할 때까지, 최대 15일쯤. 실패하면 하루·이틀·나흘·여드레 뒤 다시 시도하고 그래도 안 되면 지웁니다.
• "내 공개 한 줄은 북이off로 남기기"를 고른 공개 한 줄: 이용자가 고른 경우에만 계정과 끊어 남깁니다. 닉네임 없이 "북이off"로 보이며 누가 썼는지 알 수 없습니다.

계정은 두고 한 줄·읽은 책·책장만 지우면 한 줄의 글은 바로 지웁니다. 다른 기기에도 지운 것이 반영되도록 "지웠다"는 표시(어떤 책이었는지 포함)는 계정을 삭제할 때까지 남깁니다. 백업에는 위 기간만큼 남습니다. 기기에 저장된 기록은 앱을 지우면 함께 지워집니다.

3. 익명 통계

• 여러 이용자가 읽은 책을 모아 "지금 많이 보는 책" 같은 책 순위를 만듭니다. 나만 보기로 둔 한 줄을 쓴 책도 읽은 책으로 셉니다. 순위에는 책만 나오고 누가 읽었는지는 나오지 않습니다.
• 앱 안 안내 문구(예: 할인 안내, 공유 권하기)는 이용자마다 여러 문구 중 하나를 정해 보여 주고, 1절의 앱 사용 기록으로 어떤 문구가 더 도움이 되는지 비교합니다.

4. 제3자 제공

운영자는 이용자의 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 법령에 특별한 규정이 있는 경우는 예외입니다.

• 이용자가 공개로 둔 한 줄은 닉네임과 함께 같은 책을 펼친 다른 이용자에게 보입니다. 한 줄마다 "나만 보기"로 끌 수 있습니다.
• 한 줄에 받은 on의 수는 쓴 사람만 봅니다.

5. 처리 위탁과 국외 이전

앱 서버·데이터베이스·백업은 Cloudflare가 운영하는 클라우드에서 처리합니다. 서비스 제공(계약 이행)에 필요한 보관·처리라서 이 처리방침에 공개하고 위탁합니다.

• 받는 자: Cloudflare, Inc.(미국), 개인정보 문의 privacyquestions@cloudflare.com
• 이전되는 국가: 미국과 Cloudflare 데이터센터가 있는 나라. 데이터베이스와 백업은 아시아·태평양 지역에 두도록 지정했습니다.
• 이전 항목: 1절의 정보(구매 기록·앤 거래 기록 포함)
• 이전 시기·방법: 앱을 쓸 때마다 암호화된 통신(HTTPS)으로 전송
• 이용 목적·보유 기간: 앱 서버 운영. 보유 기간은 2절과 같습니다.
• 거부 방법과 효과: 계정을 삭제하면 이전이 멈춥니다. 거부하면 로그인이 필요한 기능을 쓸 수 없습니다.

앱 사용 기록(1절)은 다음 분석 도구에 맡겨 처리합니다.

• 이전되는 국가: 미국 등 각 회사의 데이터센터가 있는 나라

• 거부 방법과 효과: 판권의 "사용 통계 보내기"를 끄면 더 보내지 않습니다. 꺼도 앱을 쓰는 데 제한이 없습니다

함께 쓰는 외부 서비스(운영자가 개인정보를 맡기지 않는 곳)

• Apple: Apple로 로그인, App Store 결제. Apple이 처리하는 정보는 Apple의 개인정보 처리방침(https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/)을 따릅니다.
• 예스24: 책 검색·책 정보·표지·책등 사진. 서버가 책을 찾을 때 이용자 정보를 보내지 않습니다. 표지·책등 사진은 앱이 예스24 이미지 서버에서 바로 받아 오므로 기기의 IP 주소가 예스24에 전달될 수 있습니다.
• 인스타그램·스레드 등: 이용자가 공유 단추를 누를 때만, 이용자가 고른 이미지를 넘깁니다.

6. 파기 절차와 방법

• 지울 이유가 생기면 서버 데이터베이스에서 바로 지웁니다.
• 백업은 보관 기간(30일)이 지나면 저장소 규칙으로 자동으로 지워집니다.
• 전자 파일은 복구할 수 없는 방법으로 지웁니다. 종이로 출력해 보관하지 않습니다.

7. 이용자의 권리와 행사 방법

이용자는 언제든 자기 개인정보를 열람·정정·삭제하거나 처리 정지를 요구할 수 있습니다.

• 앱 안에서 바로 할 수 있는 것: 한 줄 고치기·지우기·나만 보기, 닉네임 바꾸기, 읽은 책 지우기, 가린 독자 풀기, 계정 삭제(목차 → 판권 → 북이off)
• 그 밖의 요청은 아래 문의처로 보내 주세요. 10일 안에 처리 결과를 알려 드립니다.
• 법정대리인이나 위임을 받은 사람도 요청할 수 있습니다.

8. 안전성 확보 조치

• 모든 통신을 HTTPS로 암호화합니다.
• 로그인 세션은 서버에 원문 없이 해시로만 저장하고, Apple 갱신 토큰은 암호화해 둡니다.
• 기기에서는 로그인 정보를 키체인("이 기기에서만")에 둡니다. 기기 백업으로 다른 기기에 옮겨지지 않습니다.
• 서버 비밀값은 코드와 분리해 보관하고, 운영 페이지는 허가한 운영자만 들어갈 수 있습니다.
• 개인정보는 로그인한 이용자 본인의 것만 읽고 쓰도록 서버가 확인합니다.

9. 자동 수집 장치와 만 14세 미만

• 앱은 쿠키나 광고 식별자를 쓰지 않고, 맞춤형 광고를 위한 행태 정보를 모으지 않습니다. 분석 도구의 광고 기능(광고 저장·광고 맞춤)은 꺼 두었습니다. 다른 회사의 앱·웹사이트 기록과 합쳐 추적하지 않습니다.
• 만 14세 미만은 가입할 수 없습니다. 만 14세 미만의 정보를 모은 것을 알게 되면 바로 지웁니다.

12. 처리방침의 변경

이 처리방침을 바꾸면 시행 7일 전부터 앱과 이 페이지에 알립니다. 이용자 권리에 중요한 변경은 30일 전에 알립니다.

Boogie On&On Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 2026-10-30 (updated 2026-10-23 to add An records and remove subscription wording)

JayApp ("we") operates the Boogie On&On (북이On&On) app ("the App"). This policy explains how we handle your personal information under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea.

1. Information We Process and Why

• Sign-up and sign-in (required): Sign in with Apple user identifier, Apple refresh token (stored encrypted), sign-in session — to identify you, keep you signed in, and disconnect Sign in with Apple when you delete your account
• Profile (required): nickname (generated automatically at first sign-in; you can change it) — shown as the author of the lines you make public
• Reading records (entered by you): books you finished, are reading, or keep in your stacks; finished and started dates; pages or percent read; one-line reviews with their visibility and spoiler flags — to keep and restore your records and to show the lines you make public
• Shelf decoration: shelves, art styles, shelf designs, backgrounds, and where books and objects are placed — to save and restore them
• With other readers: the "on"s you turn on, reports (the reported line and reason), and readers you hide (block) — to show "on", handle reports, and hide lines from readers you blocked
• Purchases: items bought on the App Store (An packs, lifetime membership, etc.), transaction IDs, purchase dates and refund status (processed by the Apple App Store) — to grant and restore what you bought and your An, apply refunds and answer payment inquiries
• An records: An pack transaction IDs, An received, spent and taken back with timestamps, and items bought with An — to calculate your An balance, show your An history, take back An on refunds and answer payment inquiries
• Generated automatically: IP address and server logs — to prevent abuse and handle outages
• App usage records (usage statistics): features and screens you use (e.g., adding books, changing art styles, sharing, purchases, spending An), settings such as chosen art styles and objects, the notice wording you were shown, device information (model, OS, app version, language), an app-install identifier, your account ID (pseudonymous), and approximate region derived from your IP address — to improve features, measure usage, and compare in-app notice wordings. You can turn this off with "Send usage statistics" in the Colophon; the App works the same when it is off

We do not collect your name, email address (Sign in with Apple is not asked for it), phone number, precise location, contacts, or advertising identifier. One-line reviews and search text are never included in usage records.

• Barcode scanning happens only on your device; no camera image or photo is sent.
• Shelf images are created on your device and shared only where you choose (Photos, Instagram, Threads, etc.).
• To answer the same book search quickly, the server keeps search results for one day, keyed only by a hash of the search text, without recording who searched.

2. Retention

When you delete your account (Contents → Colophon → 북이off in the App), we immediately delete your personal information on our server, including purchase records and An records (Apple keeps the original payment and refund records). The following remain for the stated period and are then deleted:

• Daily server backups: 30 days from creation, used only to recover from outages
• Database point-in-time recovery records: up to 30 days, used only to recover from outages
• Server logs: up to 7 days, for handling outages
• App usage records: deleted from Firebase (Google Analytics) 14 months after collection; kept in Amplitude while the App is operated and deleted when it ends; after you delete your account, we delete that account's records from both on request
• Apple refresh token (encrypted, detached from your account): until Sign in with Apple is disconnected, about 15 days at most; we retry after 1, 2, 4, and 8 days and then delete it
• Public lines you chose to leave as "북이off": kept only if you choose so, detached from your account and shown without a nickname

3. Anonymous Statistics

• We combine the books readers have read into book rankings such as "popular now". Rankings show books only, never who read them.
• For in-app notices (e.g., the discount notice, the share invitation), each user is assigned one of several wordings, and we compare them using the app usage records in Section 1.

4. Sharing with Third Parties

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law. Lines you make public are shown with your nickname to other users who open the same book; you can make each line private. Only the author sees how many "on"s a line received.

5. Processors and International Transfer

The App's server, database, and backups run on Cloudflare's cloud. Recipient: Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), privacyquestions@cloudflare.com. Countries: the USA and countries where Cloudflare operates data centers; our database and backups are located in the Asia-Pacific region. Items: the information in Section 1 (including purchase and An records). Timing and method: each time you use the App, over encrypted HTTPS. Purpose and retention: operating the App's server, retained as in Section 2. You can stop the transfer by deleting your account; features that require sign-in will then be unavailable.

App usage records (Section 1) are processed by analytics providers: Amplitude, Inc. (USA, privacy@amplitude.com) and Google LLC (USA, Firebase Analytics), in the USA and other countries where they operate data centers, sent over HTTPS while you use the App, for usage statistics and feature improvement, retained as in Section 2. Turning off "Send usage statistics" stops the transfer without limiting the App.

Other services we use (we do not entrust your personal information to them): Apple (Sign in with Apple and App Store payments, under Apple's privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/); YES24 (book search, book information, cover and spine images — our server sends no user information, but the App loads images directly from YES24, so your device's IP address may reach YES24); Instagram, Threads, and other apps (only the image you choose, when you tap share).

6. Deletion

We delete data from our server database as soon as there is a reason to delete it. Backups are deleted automatically after 30 days. Electronic files are deleted in a way that cannot be recovered; we keep no printed copies.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop processing it, at any time. In the App you can edit, delete, or make private your lines, change your nickname, delete books, unhide readers, and delete your account. For other requests, contact us below; we respond within 10 days. A legal representative or an authorized person may also make requests.

8. Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Sessions are stored on the server only as hashes, and Apple refresh tokens are encrypted. On your device, sign-in data is kept in the Keychain ("this device only"). Server secrets are kept separate from code, and only authorized operators can access the admin page. The server checks that each user can read and write only their own data.

9. Cookies, Advertising, and Children

The App uses no cookies or advertising identifiers and collects no behavioral data for targeted advertising; advertising features of the analytics tools are turned off, and we do not combine your data with other companies' apps or websites to track you. Users under 14 may not sign up; if we learn we have collected information from a user under 14, we delete it promptly.
